Safe Invest Holding AG was founded in 1993 by Andreas Königsberger and Martin Herzel and their partners. With more than 10,000 staff members, both employees and freelancers, it is one of the biggest financial services companies in Central and Eastern Europe. The company can look back at more than 15 years of being a pioneer in the financial business in 11 countries. Its headquarters are in Vienna, Austria. In 2006, Safe Invest expanded furtherby acquiring a competitor in Romania. The most recently launched markets are Macedonia and Bulgaria. The establishment of another subsidiary in Ukraine is scheduled for spring 2008. In early 2007, the company decided to restructure its Board of Directors. The owners and the new management are dedicated to expanding its core business to cover even more markets. This is to be achieved through different types of distribution systems, with an extended portfolio of products. On top of that, the company is planning to diversify and invest into synergetic businesses and activities, some of them also outside the established financial services it offers.
